To get down to specifics;
The vision deserves 5 stars. I can definitely see this pretty cake, and putting in with that beautiful background. It gives me the illusion in my mind that it's at a restauraunt. A very fancy, proper, and decorated restaurant in fact.
Originality deserves 4.5 stars. I haven't seen anyone else use rainbow cake, or with the same placing of the piece in front of the whole cake, ect. Many people do do food photography though, but then again it doesn't subtract too many stars since you did it in a very unique way.
Technique deserves all 5 stars. The placing of the smaller piece of cake, in front of the rest of the whole cake gives a very nice look. The fact that the first piece is focused, but the back is blurred definitely fits in with how usually a human eye would see it, if they were to focus on looking at the first piece. The background matches very well, and like I said before, gives me the illusion of a fancy restauraunt.
Impact also deserves all 5 stars. Once again, and the last time, it gives many illusions like the fancy restauraunt (in my mind). Everyone would see it there own way, that's the beauty of photography.
Overall, beautiful. +1 Watcher, +1 Llama.
