As a cat lover, nothing in this world can melt my heart more than that of a little baby cat. The fact that it is an original picture, the impact of pure innocence it portrays, and the powerful technique of capturing a precious moment is very top-notch! I especially love the expression this little kitten has on her face. So cute! I think you would make a great baby animal photographer! Anyone who looks at this and not feel something clearly has the wrong concept of pure beauty in baby animals or that of innocence of infants in this cruel and twisted world!
I feel the demeanor of the picture gives the viewer of the photograph a feeling that the little kitten is truly reaching for something. Looking at this, I notice Snow's eyes looking up slightly, neck stretched out to get a better look at something; as if she has aimed for a certain kind of goal. Just looking at her I can see she is giving all the effort her tiny body can give just to take baby steps toward wherever it is she's hoping to get to. And the stillness of the light in the picture makes it seem as if time is completely standing still just for Snow to take those small steps, one after another, until she will be filled with nice satisfaction when she's reached her goal . That's what I love about the photograph: The view of this little creature taking first steps shows me that growth is very, very important, and that by taking baby steps each day as little babies, some day we'll be strong enough to walk about the whole world if we want to.
I just bought my first ever slr cam, the 550D, and i've been trying to get that kind of really blured out background, to get the main object in focus, but i can't get it as good as this what kind of adjustment do you use for this effect, blending speed, aperture and iso?
Adorable! I just can't help wanting to have a kitten like that in my hands! btw lovely photo! the colors brings out the kittens eyes! >w< it's fur looks so soft! <333
